What types of bikes exist.

More recently, there were only two or three main types of bicycles (city bike, sports bike, mountain bike). Currently, you can easily count more than a dozen of them, and almost every species will have its subspecies:

City bikes are often used in the world for everyday riding in normal clothing in different weather conditions.
Manufacturers of these bikes focus more on comfort and practicality instead of speed or efficiency. City bikes are heavier than road bikes and have a smaller speed range. The saddle is usually larger than other bikes, and most of them are equipped with chain protection against oil or dirt.

They are designed with strong frames that can withstand heavy loads both in front and behind. There are also many places to attach certain things, such as a basket, water bottles, pumps, flashlights, and so on.
